The UALR Ham Club operates a 2 meter repeater on 146.850 MHz (input 146.250 MHz) for club members and the community. This open repeater has a coverage of about 20-25 miles from the UALR campus, of course depending on terrain.
The repeater is a Yaesu System Fusion machine using Wacom duplexers. The antenna is a Ringo Ranger at about 30 feet over the top of the ETAS (old engineering) Building. Currently, the repeater supports Yaesu System Fusion digital mode and standard analog FM. The UALR campus provides emergency power capability.
