Welcome
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Amateur Radio Club serves the students, faculty and staff of UALR, as well as the UA Medical Sciences campus faculty, staff, and students who wish to join the club. The club also serves community hams who are alumni or have an interest in UALR and ham radio by allowing them to join also. The club maintains a Station Room and 2 meter repeater on the campus. The club’s purpose is to train individuals in electronic circuits and RF communications technologies as well as to provide an outlet for public service activities. The club provides a number of Volunteer Examiner Testing sessions for those seeking a US FCC Amateur Radio Service license each year. The club has provided training sessions and assists new ham operators with practical operations guidance.
Please examine our pages covering many of the topics touched on above for more information. Contact us if you are a ham operator, or wish to be licensed, and are or wish to be associated with our efforts.
